  • What is ‘Slice It in 3’?

    You can now spread the cost of your purchase over three equal payments, all managed by payments supremos Klarna.


    The payment for each instalment will automatically be collected from the debit or credit card you enter at the checkout.


    Your first instalment will be collected when your order is confirmed by Swegwayfun and the next installments are scheduled 30 and 60 days’ later, respectively.


    How to Use it…

    • Select ‘Slice It’ when you get to the payments stage...

    Klarna Slice It In 3

    • Finalise your order, you’ll then head to Klarna automatically and be asked to enter your credit/debit card information
    • Press ‘Place Order’ and either of the following will happen:

    👍 Your ‘Slice It’ payment will be approved and your order will then be confirmed by Swegwayfun. You’ll pay a third on confirmation of your order by Swegwayfun and then the 2nd installment 30 days later and the third and final installment 60 days from the order date.


    👎 Your ‘Slice It’ payment has not been approved (see FAQ below) and you have the option to return to Swegwayfun to change to alternative payment method

    Who is Klarna?

    Klarna is a global payment service provider that takes end-to-end responsibility for your payment. Klarna is the provider of Smooth payments to more than 70,000 online stores. Over 60 million consumers worldwide have trusted Klarna to securely handle their payments.


    How does ‘Klarna - Slice It In 3’ work?

    Klarna - Slice It In 3 (also known as Pay Later in 3) will allow you to spread the cost of your purchase over 3 equal payments. The payment for each instalment will automatically be collected from the debit or credit card you entered in the Klarna page at the checkout. Your first instalment will be collected when your order is confirmed by Swegwayfun and the following 2 installments are taken 30 and 60 days’ later.


    Am I eligible to use Klarna - Slice It In 3?

    You must

    • be 18 years’ old, or more!
    • have a valid mobile number and email address
    • Have a UK residential address
    • Have a UK bank account with good credit history
    • Have a credit/debit card that’s valid for 60 days or more from the order date

    Will a credit search take place?

    Klarna may run so-called unrecorded enquiries (or soft credit searches) that do not affect credit scoring and are only visible to you and Klarna, but not visible to other lenders. Neither Klarna nor Swegwayfun run credit searches against you that could impact your credit rating. Please be aware that your credit rating may be affected if you do not make the required payments to Klarna.


    Why have I not been offered Klarna - Slice It In 3?

    Although Klarna Slice It In 3 is promoted on Swegwayfun, it is not always universally available. The approval is dependent upon a number of factors including address details, cardholder details, amount of order, the online store, previous order history and item availability.


    If you’re having trouble placing an order using Klarna Slice It In 3, here’s some possible explanations:

    • Your application to pay on account has been rejected by Klarna. Try another payment type or place an order for a smaller amount.
    • You have outstanding previous payments with Klarna.
    • You missed a required field at checkout.

    Klarna are an independent payment company and Swegwayfun have no influence over their application process. If you’re experiencing further difficulty, please contact Klarna Customer Service.


    How can I increase my chances of being accepted for Klarna - Slice It In 3?

    Klarna is unique and offers Pay in 3 based on a number of factors such as the order value, previous order history and item availability. If you are 18 or over, you can improve your chances of being offered Pay in 3 by ensuring you provide your full name and accurate address details and shipping to your registered billing address. All orders are assessed individually. Just because you have been accepted for a Klarna payment method before does not mean it will be offered for every order and in turn, as it is denied does not mean it will be denied for all future orders.


    What happens if I cancel or return my order?

    As soon as Swegwayfun has accepted your cancellation/return, Klarna will cancel any future scheduled payments as well as refund any amounts due.


    Once Swegwayfun has received the return (partial or full) and you have received their confirmation of this, an updated statement with an adjusted payment schedule will be sent to you by Klarna if you've made a partial return. With a full return, we shall refund any payments collected and cancel any future scheduled payments.


    As soon as the store has registered your cancellation or your return, the refund will be processed within 5-7 business days.


    What happens if I don’t pay for my order?

    Klarna will automatically attempt to collect your payment for your Slice It In 3 purchase at Swegwayfun from the debit or credit card you entered at checkout. If we are unable to collect your payment on the scheduled due date Klarna will make one further attempt to automatically collect payment two days later. Should this last payment attempt fail, Klarna will issue you a statement for the full outstanding order amount which will become payable 15 days later. Klarna shall notify you when a payment is due two days in advance of attempting to collect your payment.


    Should I go to Klarna’s website?

    You can view all of your Klarna purchases and payment schedule simply by logging onto www.Klarna.com/uk


    Is my personal and payment information safe?

    Personal and payment information is processed securely by Klarna. No card / payment details are transferred to or held by Swegwayfun. Swegwayfun will use your name, delivery address and so on to process your order. All transactions take place via connections secured with the latest industry standard security protocols


    Can I pay before the due date/s of the installment/s?

    No, this is not currently possible.


    Confirmation of receiving payment from you to Klarna

    Klarna will notify you directly via email and/or push notification when a payment is due and when this has successfully be collected, or in the unlikely event of your payment failing. If a payment has been collected but you have not received payment confirmation, you can always check the status of your order and payments by logging in at www.klarna.com/uk


    I’ve received a statement from Klarna but I’ve not yet received my products from Swegwayfun

    In the unlikely event that your goods have not been received please contact Swegwayfun (info@segwayfun.uk) to check on your order and delivery status. You can also contact Klarna’s Customer Service so that we can postpone the due date on your payment. Klarna Customer Service.


    I’ve not received an email or notification with my statement / payment information
